Weekly Events

Weekly shows are held Friday's at 8:00pm in the Student Conference Centre.

Practices are held weekly on Wednesdays at 5:30pm in the Student Conference Centre.

You have reached the home of The Angry Beavers. Since 1996, The Angry Beavers have provided a free improv comedy show on campus at Acadia University for students, staff, townsfolk and molluscs. Every Friday night, come see us perform improv games, just like the hit show "Whose Line is it Anyway?".

Check out our pictures, our current players, our favourite posters, and find out all you can about the best show near the water fountains. Then bring us hot chocolate and other tokens of your affection.

We're so desperately lonely.

How to find us. (by means of an MSPAINT map)

We had our first show of the 2008-2009 year....well academic year.....Can't we just call it time when we pay to learn, but don't really learn? Either way, our show was kickass! We had an audience of about 47, give or take Jon's vision. We had some newbies come both to pre-show practice and to Paddy's afterwards! Yay! People are starting to run away less and less.

Be sure to stay with us, and check out our practices and shows!

Well, the first month is over with and Thanksgiving and Halloween are fast approaching! We will continue to have shows every Friday despite the long weekend and loss of most of the Beavers. The BCian, displaced Newfie and 'murican with girl parts will be showering whatever audience shows up with the show for the ages, featuring rarely performed two and three person games, since we don't have 10 people playing!

With the addition of a couple of very skilled-in-the-actual-science-of-REAL-improv newcomers we've revised our workshop methods and have seen improvement in our theatrical skills already. Welcome to the new and improved Angry Beavers - funnier, positive(er) and more physical than... the past couple of years at least! :)
